Project Brain: Missing Memory Entries Are Now Recovered

Project Brain's Merged Task Log now shows memory entries that had gone missing for a number of already-merged tasks.

Summary

Project Brain's Merged Task Log previously showed a number of already-merged tasks without the memory entry agents write when their work lands. Those entries weren't actually lost — a server-side gap kept them from being collected — and they've now been recovered and filled back into the log, with better diagnostics in place so a gap like it is caught immediately next time.

What You Gain

Before this fix, a merged task could show up in the Merged Task Log with no memory entry attached, even though the agent had written one as part of finishing the work. Nothing about this pointed to the real cause, so it read as though agents simply weren't recording what they learned — when in fact the entries existed, they just weren't being picked up.

Now that gap is closed, and the memory entries for the tasks it affected have been assembled and added back into Project Brain, so the project's history reflects what agents actually recorded. Going forward, a configuration gap like this is caught and reported immediately rather than quietly looking like missing agent output.

How It Works

  • Past gaps are already filled in. The memory entries affected by this issue have been recovered and added to the Merged Task Log — no action is needed from you.
  • Future issues surface clearly. If a similar configuration problem ever recurs, it's now reported as a distinct, specific issue instead of looking like an empty memory entry.
  • Nothing to change in how your agents work. Agents continue writing their memory entries exactly as before; this only fixes how reliably those entries reach Project Brain.

Where to Find It

Open a project's Brain tab and check the Merged Task Log — recovered entries are already there for every affected account, with nothing to configure.
