Agents now remember what they learn about your project

Agents now record lasting lessons about a project, so a quirk they discover is handled once instead of relearned on every future run.

Summary

Agents used to rediscover the same project quirks every single run. Now, when an agent learns something durable about a project, it writes that lesson down, and every future run in that project benefits from it automatically.

What You Gain

Picture an agent that works out, the hard way, that a project's checks only pass after a particular setup step. Previously, the next run — whether it was the same agent or a different one — hit the exact same wall and had to work it out all over again, burning time on something that was already solved once.

Now that discovery is recorded as a project-level lesson, not a one-off note tied to that single run. The next agent to touch the project sees it in its instructions automatically, so the quirk is paid for once rather than every time.

How It Works

  • Durable discoveries — a setup step that has to come first, an unwritten convention, a fact about how the project is set up — are recorded automatically as lessons.
  • A Memory tab on each project lists every current lesson, grouped by kind, showing which agent recorded it and when, with a delete option on each.
  • The same lessons also appear as a read-only summary document on the Documents tab, since it's generated automatically rather than written by hand.
  • To keep things manageable, lessons are periodically reviewed: near-duplicates are merged into the clearest version, and anything that turns out to be specific to one finished task rather than the whole project is dropped.

Where to Find It

Project memory builds itself automatically as agents work — check the Memory tab on any project to see what's been learned, and remove anything you'd rather agents forgot.
