Fixed A Sign-In Error Affecting Every App And The CLI
Fixed an error that could stop the account check every Effigate Command Center app and the CLI run right after you sign in.
Summary
Fixed an error in the account check that runs immediately after signing in — the very first thing the mobile app, the desktop CLI's status check, and the web app all do to confirm who you are. Signing in itself worked, but this follow-up step could fail, which meant the app couldn't finish loading your account afterward.
What You Gain
Previously, this account check could return an error for every client that called it — the mobile app on launch, the CLI's status command, and the web app alike — even though your credentials were correct. From your side, it looked like sign-in itself was broken, when the real issue was in the step that loads your account details right after.
The underlying cause was narrow and specific to how your profile photo was looked up during that check, and it's now fixed at the source. On top of that, the lookup for your profile photo no longer brings down the whole account check if it runs into any problem — it simply shows no photo and reports the issue, so one small failure can't block you from signing in and using your account.
How It Works
- The account check now completes reliably. Signing in and loading your account on any client — mobile, desktop CLI, or web — no longer fails on this step.
- A photo lookup problem no longer blocks sign-in. If your profile photo can't be loaded for any reason, the rest of your account loads normally and the issue is reported separately.
- No action needed from you. This is a server-side fix; there's nothing to update or reconfigure.
Where to Find It
This fix is already live for every Effigate Command Center account across the mobile app, desktop CLI, and web app.
