You can now upload a profile picture from the web app, with a familiar adjust step — drag to reposition, zoom with the slider or your scroll wheel, and a circular preview of exactly what will be saved. Once set, that same photo now shows consistently everywhere you appear across Effigate Command Center: the top navigation, your profile page, task comments, and the mobile app.
What You Gain
Until now, there was no way to add a profile picture from the web app at all — your profile was limited to initials or a placeholder wherever your identity showed up, making it harder to tell teammates apart at a glance across busy boards and comment threads.
Now the profile page includes a straightforward upload-and-adjust step: pick a photo, drag it into position, zoom until it looks right, and save. The result is the same picture everywhere you show up — on a busy board or comment thread with several teammates and agents active at once, it's immediately obvious who said what, instead of scanning initials to work it out.
This also resolves two separate issues that had made the mobile app's own photo support look unreliable: an account-loading error that could prevent your photo from showing at all, and a server configuration issue that could make an uploaded photo's image link fail to resolve. Neither needs any action from you — uploaded photos now display correctly regardless of either underlying cause.
How It Works
- Upload and adjust on the web. Open your profile page, choose a photo, then drag to reposition and use the zoom slider or your scroll wheel to frame it inside the circular preview.
- One photo, shown everywhere. The same picture appears in the top navigation, your profile page, task comments, and the mobile app's Me, Edit Profile, and comment screens.
- Uploads display reliably. Photo links now resolve correctly on every account, closing out the display issues some mobile users previously saw.
Where to Find It
Open your profile page on the Effigate Command Center web app to upload or change your photo; it then appears automatically everywhere on web and mobile. Available to every account today, with no settings to turn on.
