Signing Back In On Mobile Replaces Your Old Session

Signing back in on the Effigate Command Center mobile app now closes your previous session instead of leaving it active alongside the new one.

Summary

Signing back in on the mobile app — after a fresh install, clearing storage, or simply logging in again on the same device — now closes out your previous session for that device before starting the new one. Your account no longer accumulates old, still-active sessions every time you sign in again on the same phone.

What You Gain

Previously, each time you re-authenticated on a device, the app quietly kept the old session alive alongside the new one instead of replacing it. Over repeated sign-ins on the same phone, that meant a growing number of sessions for a single device, all still technically valid.

Now, verifying your code on sign-in retires every other active session already registered to that same device before issuing the new one. Signing in again behaves the way you'd expect: it replaces your last session rather than stacking a new one on top of it.

How It Works

  • Re-authenticating on a device clears its older sessions first. Confirming your one-time code revokes any other active session already tied to that device name.
  • One device, one active session. You no longer end up with several live sessions for the same phone after repeated sign-ins.
  • No extra steps. This happens automatically as part of signing in — there's nothing to review or clean up yourself.

Where to Find It

This takes effect automatically the next time you sign in on the Effigate Command Center mobile app — there's no setting to change.
