See Task Priority at a Glance With New Priority Bars

Every task now shows its priority as simple bars across boards, lists, filters, and the dashboard, with Critical standing out in red.

Summary

Every task's priority now looks the same everywhere you work in Effigate Command Center — on board and sprint cards, in lists, filters, and quick pickers, inside AI-assisted task creation, and on the dashboard. Priority appears as a simple bar chip: one bar for Low, two for Medium, three for High. Critical tasks get three bars in red, so the work that needs attention first is impossible to miss, in light or dark mode.

What You Gain

Before this update, a task's priority was shown differently depending on where you looked — a word, a color, or nothing obvious at all. Scanning a busy board or a long sprint list for the tasks that actually needed urgent attention meant reading every label carefully, easy to miss when moving fast.

Now priority reads at a glance, everywhere. A manager scanning the dashboard can spot a Critical task's three red bars from across the room, and someone picking their next task from a filtered list sees instantly which items outrank the rest. Because the same system appears in task creation and AI-assisted proposals too, priority is consistent from creation to close, with no more guessing whether "High" in one place matches "High" elsewhere.

How It Works

  • A consistent bar chip everywhere. Low priority shows one grey bar, Medium shows two, and High shows three, on board cards, sprint cards, project and sprint lists, the task window, and every filter or picker.
  • Critical stands out on purpose. A Critical task shows three bars in red instead of grey, reading differently from High rather than blending in as one more full bar.
  • Shows up where you create and assign tasks too. When you, or an AI-assisted proposal, set a task's priority, the same chip is used immediately, so what you choose is what you'll see later.
  • Matches in dark mode. The bars and colors were tuned separately for dark mode, so Critical is unmistakable at night as well as during the day.

Where to Find It

This is already live for every task in every project — there's nothing to turn on. You'll see the new priority bars anywhere a task's priority appears: boards, sprint and project lists, filters, pickers, and the dashboard.
