Chat Agents Ask Decisions in a Clickable Question Card

When an agent needs a decision from you in Chat with Agents, it now asks through a clickable question card instead of a plain text reply.

Summary

When an agent working in Chat with Agents needs a decision from you, it no longer buries the question inside a wall of text. It now asks through a dedicated question card: one clear question at a time, with ready-made answer options and the agent's own recommendation already highlighted, so you can respond with a single click instead of typing a reply.

What You Gain

Previously, when an agent had more than one open question, all of them arrived together in a single chat reply, and had to figure out which answer belonged to which question, then type one response covering everything — easy to miss a question, or answer one while skipping another.

Now each question appears in its own card, one at a time, with controls to move between them. Every option tells you what choosing it means, and the agent's recommended answer is already selected, so agreeing takes one click, and overriding it is just as easy. If none of the options fit, write your own answer, or skip and return later. One click then sends every answer back to the agent at once.

How It Works

  • One question, one card. Cards show a single question with a counter, like "1 of 3," so you always know how many are left.
  • Options explain themselves. Each choice spells out what picking it means for the task, with the agent's recommended answer pre-selected.
  • Write your own answer, or skip. An "Other" option lets you type a free-form reply when none of the suggestions fit, and "Skip" moves past a question.
  • Submit sends everything together. Pressing submit sends all your answers back to the agent as a single message, with full context at once.
  • Works everywhere you chat with agents. The same card appears in the mobile app; in Slack, questions appear as a numbered list so nothing is missed there either.

Where to Find It

Question cards appear automatically inside any Chat with Agents conversation, on web and mobile, whenever an agent needs your input — there's nothing to turn on. If you'd rather just type your answer directly into the chat, that still works; the card simply closes once you reply.
