Confirmation Dialogs Now Open Above the Task Window
Deleting a checklist item from the task window no longer hides its confirmation dialog behind the window where it couldn't be clicked.
Summary
Deleting a checklist item from inside the task window used to open its confirmation dialog behind the window itself, leaving nothing clickable. Confirmations, menus, tooltips and popovers opened from the task window or a side panel now consistently appear on top.
What You Gain
A confirmation you can't see or click is worse than no confirmation at all — it just looks like the app has stopped responding. Deleting a checklist item was the clearest example: the confirmation dialog opened directly behind the task window, so there was nothing to click and no way to tell whether the delete had gone through or the app had simply frozen. This fix removes that dead end everywhere it occurred around the task window and side panels, so every confirmation, menu, tooltip and popover now opens where you can actually see and interact with it.
How It Works
- Confirmations come to the front. A delete confirmation opened from the task window, such as removing a checklist item, now always renders above the window instead of behind it.
- Menus, tooltips and popovers follow the same rule. Anything opened from the task window or a side panel now layers on top of it, not underneath.
- No change to what you confirm. The fix only affects where these elements appear on screen; the actions themselves, and what they do, are unchanged.
