Chat Replies No Longer Get Stuck After a Laptop Sleeps
A chat message that was still processing when a laptop went to sleep could leave the whole conversation waiting indefinitely; it now always resolves.
Summary
If the computer running an agent went to sleep while it was answering a chat message, that message could get permanently stuck on "Waiting," blocking every message sent afterward until the desktop app was restarted. A stuck or stopped message now always resolves, so the conversation keeps moving.
What You Gain
A chat that silently stops responding is confusing and, until this fix, had no clear fix besides restarting the app. Now a message that can't finish because its computer went to sleep is handled cleanly: the time spent asleep doesn't count as the agent being idle, the message is never run twice, and the next message starts right away instead of queuing behind a stuck one. The desktop app also now correctly shows a message as running while it's in progress.
Where to Find It
Requires the current desktop app.
