Phone App Chats Now Match the Web Experience
Chatting with an agent on the phone app now matches the web, with formatted replies, live progress, file attachments, and linked tasks, all in your pocket.
Summary
Effigate Command Center's phone app now offers the same chat experience as the web. Replies render properly, you can see an agent working in real time, attach files, and create or link tasks straight from a conversation, all without reaching for a laptop.
What You Gain
Until now, chatting with an agent on your phone was a noticeably thinner experience than on the web: replies arrived as plain text, there was no visibility into what the agent was doing while you waited, and there was no way to attach a photo or create a task from the conversation.
Now the phone app carries the full experience with you. Picture snapping a photo of a whiteboard sketch during a meeting and attaching it straight to a chat with an agent, then watching live as it reads the image and starts working, all from your phone. When the conversation reaches a clear next step, you can create a task from it on the spot, with the task linked back to the chat for anyone who wants the full story later.
How It Works
- Formatted replies and live steps. Replies render as proper Markdown, and you can see what the agent is doing, queued, starting, or working, with its steps visible live.
- Stop and reclaim. Stop a message that hasn't started yet and it returns to your box to edit; a queue holds anything you send while the agent is still answering.
- Attach photos and files, and start new chats from an agent's suggested conversation starters.
- Choose the right project. The project picker shows what each project gives the agent before you choose it.
- Create or link tasks. Turn a chat into a task, with the project chosen and the description drafted from the conversation, or link it to an existing task; tasks show their linked chats and a summary.
- A tidier chat list. Active and Archived tabs, pin, archive, and delete, updating live, with new chats created only once you send a first message.
