Find Any Task Instantly, and Chats Named for Their Agent
Search now reaches Tasks, Board, Projects and Decisions, and every chat shows its agent's name or your own title, with Rename on web and phone.
Summary
Effigate Command Center now puts search at the top of Tasks, Board, Projects and Decisions, matching results as you type and respecting your filters. Chats also get real names: a chat shows its own title if you gave it one, or its agent's name if not, and you can rename any chat on web or phone.
What You Gain
Before this, search only worked on the Agents page. Finding a specific task on a busy board, or a decision buried in a long list, meant scrolling and squinting rather than typing a few words. Every chat with an agent was also just called "Chat," telling you nothing about what was inside.
Now you can type part of a title, a task ID, or a decision's message and jump straight to it. Every word you type has to appear somewhere, in any order, so "login crash" still finds "Crash on the login screen" even with the words reversed. And when you rename a chat to something like "Homepage copy," it keeps that name in the list from then on, instead of leaving you to guess which "Chat" is which.
How It Works
- Search everywhere it matters. Tasks and the Board match a task's title, ID (
776,#776, or the full ID) and description. Projects match by name. Decisions match the title, task ID and message. - All-words matching. Every word you type must appear, in any order, so you don't need the exact phrase to find what you're after.
- Clear empty state. When nothing matches, the page says so and offers a one-click way to clear your search.
- Chats show a real name. The chat list and an open chat show the chat's own title if it has one, or the agent's name otherwise.
- Rename on web or phone. On the web, use Rename from a chat's row actions or header. On the phone, long-press a chat or use the menu inside it. Clearing the name, or choosing "Use agent name," reverts to the agent's name automatically.
