Stalled Run Retries Now Get Their Full Chance to Succeed
A stalled agent run's automatic retry now gets its full two-hour window to be picked up, instead of being cancelled early and failing outright.
Summary
When an agent run stalls because its machine goes quiet, Effigate automatically queues it for one more attempt. A timing issue meant that retry could be cancelled before it ever had a fair chance to run — that's now fixed.
What You Gain
Previously, if the original run had first been queued more than two hours earlier, its automatic retry was cancelled almost immediately as "never claimed," so the task failed with an "exceeded retry limit" message without the retry ever truly getting its second attempt. That meant some runs that should have quietly recovered on their own instead failed and needed a manual restart.
How It Works
The retry now gets the full two-hour window to be picked up by an available machine, regardless of how long the original run had already been queued before it stalled.
Where to Find It
This is a background reliability fix with nothing to turn on — it applies automatically to every agent run.
