Task IDs Now Show Up in Inbox and Decisions
Effigate Command Center now shows each task's ID next to its title in Inbox and Decisions, so you know what a notification is about before opening it.
Summary
Every task in Effigate Command Center has a short ID, like a reference number, that makes it easy to point to a specific piece of work. That ID now appears next to the task title in both your Inbox and your Decisions list, so you can tell at a glance which task a notification or a waiting decision belongs to.
What You Gain
Previously, the task ID only reliably showed up in a couple of places. Scanning a busy Inbox full of similarly titled notifications, or a Decisions list with several items on related work, meant opening each one just to confirm which exact task it referred to. For a team juggling many similarly named tasks, that's a few extra clicks every single time.
Now the ID rides alongside the title everywhere a task shows up in these two views, including when a task's details open outside the main Board. If you're scanning your Inbox after a busy day and see three notifications about tasks that all start with "Update," the ID next to each one tells you immediately which is which, without opening a single one.
How It Works
- Inbox rows now show the task ID next to the title on every notification.
- Decisions shows the same ID treatment it always had, now matched everywhere else a task's header appears.
- Task detail headers show the ID consistently, whether you opened the task from the Board, from Decisions, or from Inbox.
Where to Find It
This is live now for everyone — there's nothing to turn on. Open your Inbox or Decisions list to see it.
