The Assign-To Picker Now Shows Every Agent You Can Actually Use
Assigning a task to a shared agent now works from the Assign-To picker, matching what you already saw listed on the Agents page.
Summary
A team- or company-shared agent showed up correctly on your Agents page, but not always in the Assign-To picker when assigning a task — so you could see that a shared agent existed but not actually hand it work. Both now show the same list.
What You Gain
Previously, the task assignment picker used its own, narrower rule for which agents to show, one that didn't account for agent sharing properly — so it only ever listed agents you personally owned, even if a colleague's agent had been explicitly shared with your team or company. A related gap in the picker used specifically for assigning a code reviewer went the other way: it had no visibility check at all, and could offer up a colleague's private agent as a reviewer.
Both pickers now use the exact same rule the Agents page already relies on, so what you can see is always what you can actually assign. Assigning a shared agent already worked correctly once picked — this was purely about which agents showed up as options in the first place.
How It Works
- The Assign-To picker on a task now shows every agent shared with you, not only ones you personally own.
- The reviewer picker on a project now respects the same sharing rules, instead of showing agents it shouldn't.
Where to Find It
No setup needed — this applies automatically the next time you open the Assign-To or reviewer picker on any task or project.
