A Resolved Question No Longer Lingers in Your Decision Queue

An agent's open question now automatically clears from your Decision Queue once the task it belongs to has moved on and is ready for review.

Summary

A task could reach the point where an agent considers its work done and ready for your review, while an earlier question from that same work still sat open in your Decision Queue — asking you to answer something the agent itself had already moved past. Open questions now automatically resolve once a task is genuinely wrapped up.

What You Gain

Previously, nothing connected an open question to the eventual state of the task it came from, so a question could keep showing up in your queue well after it stopped being relevant — adding noise to a list that's meant to be a reliable list of things that genuinely need your attention. Now, once a task reaches the review stage and the most recent update on it came from the agent itself, any earlier open question on that task is automatically treated as resolved. This is deliberately narrow: a human's own comment never triggers this on its own, and a task that's still actively being worked on keeps its questions open exactly as before.

A related improvement cleans up escalated runs the same way: once a task has wrapped up this way, you're shown whatever the agent actually left behind, like a pull request ready for review, rather than an outdated escalation notice from earlier in the run.

How It Works

  • A task's open questions clear automatically once it reaches the review stage with the agent's own comment as the most recent update.
  • This never triggers from a human's own reply — only from the task genuinely being wrapped up by the agent.
  • Decision Queue rows now also show the task's own reference number next to its title, matching what you see on the task's own page.

Where to Find It

This runs automatically for every task — there's nothing to configure.
