Replies Now Get the Same Mention and Quick-Action Menus as Comments
Replying inside a comment thread now offers the same mention list, Quick Actions, and note option that the main comment box already has.
Summary
Replying inside a comment thread used to be a stripped-down experience, missing the mention list, Quick Actions, and note option that the main comment box already had. Replies now offer the exact same tools.
What You Gain
Before this fix, typing a reply to an existing comment gave you no list of who you could mention and no way to post without triggering an agent — even though a reply actually notifies and triggers things exactly the same way a regular comment does. That mismatch made it easy to mention someone in a reply without realizing it, or to want a quiet reply with no way to make one.
Replies now show the same mention autocomplete, your saved Quick Actions, and the /note option that top-level comments already have, so you have the same control either way.
How It Works
- Typing
@in a reply now shows the same autocomplete list as a regular comment. - Your Quick Actions and markdown shortcuts are available from the
/menu in replies too. /noteworks in a reply the same way it does in a comment — it reaches whoever you mention without starting an agent.
Where to Find It
No setup needed — available automatically the next time you reply inside any comment thread.
