Quick Actions and Notes, Right From the Comment Box

Summary

Typing / in a task's comment box already offered quick markdown formatting. It now also surfaces your saved Quick Actions, and adds a brand-new /note option for leaving a comment that reaches the people you mention without ever starting an agent.

What You Gain

Quick Actions already let you fire a saved prompt at an agent with one click from a task's header or side panel — but that sends the prompt exactly as saved, with no room to add context first. Now, picking a Quick Action from the / menu drops its message into the comment box as editable text, so you can add a note before sending it, rather than firing it blind. The one-click buttons are still there for when you want the prompt sent immediately.

Separately, there was previously no way to post a comment that mentions someone purely for their attention, without also risking it being read as an instruction to an agent. /note fills that gap: it posts without triggering any agent or automated workflow, even if it mentions one, and is clearly marked as a note in the comment thread. Anyone you mention in a note is still notified — the note still reaches them, it just doesn't start anything.

How It Works

• Type / in any task's comment box to see markdown shortcuts and your saved Quick Actions together.
• Picking a Quick Action inserts its message as editable text instead of sending it immediately.
• Type /note to post a comment that never triggers an agent or automated step, even if it names one.
• People you mention in a note are still notified, same as in a regular comment.
• Both the / and @ menus can now be used entirely from the keyboard: arrow keys to move, Enter or Tab to choose, Escape to close.

Where to Find It

Available to everyone in every task's comment box, with no setup required. Quick Actions whose agent has since been removed won't appear in the list.
