Staged Breakdowns Stay on Track Automatically
Staged task breakdowns now refresh their plan right before an agent starts work, and any pull request that was missed for review gets automatically caught and reviewed.
Summary
Staged task breakdowns are now more resilient end to end: a parent task's agent always sees the current state of its sub-tasks, and any pull request that somehow missed a review is automatically caught and reviewed on its own, a few minutes later.
What You Gain
A parent task's agent used to be briefed on its sub-tasks only once, at the moment it was queued — so anything that changed between queueing and the agent actually starting, like a sub-task being added or finishing, wasn't reflected, and the agent could duplicate work already done. Now that briefing is rebuilt right before the agent starts, from the current state of the breakdown. Separately, if a pull request's review was ever missed, it no longer stays unreviewed indefinitely — a periodic check now finds it and dispatches a review on its own, the same self-healing idea behind stages advancing themselves.
How It Works
- Fresh context at start time. A parent task's agent always sees the sub-tasks as they stand the moment it begins, not as they stood when it was queued.
- Self-healing reviews. Any open pull request without a review is automatically picked up and reviewed, independent of whatever usually triggers a review.
Where to Find It
This applies automatically to every staged breakdown and every pull request; nothing to configure.
