Assign tasks to an agent straight from the Sprints table

The Sprints table can now assign tasks to agents and squads, not just people, using the same picker as the rest of the app.

Summary

The Sprints & Tasks table could previously only assign work to people. Clicking the assignee on any row now opens the same Members, Agents and Squads picker used elsewhere in the app, so you can plan and assign a whole sprint without leaving the table.

What You Gain

Planning a sprint is exactly the moment you're deciding who — or what agent — should take on each piece of work. Needing to leave the table to hand something to an agent broke that flow. Worse, an agent-owned task on this table previously just looked unassigned, since the column couldn't display it.

Now the table shows agent and squad owners correctly, and assigning directly here works exactly like assigning from the task view — including the same prompt to take a parent task's sub-tasks along, staged, if that task has any.

How It Works

  • Click the assignee on any row to open the full Members / Agents / Squads picker, with search and presence indicators.
  • The currently assigned person, agent or squad is clearly marked in the list.
  • Assigning a parent task here triggers the same staged sub-task prompt used everywhere else in the app.

Where to Find It

Open the Sprints & Tasks tab on any project — this is available now for every account.
