Check a local directory before a task fails on it
A new Verify button checks a local project directory directly, so a setup problem shows up before a task fails on it rather than after.
Summary
A local project directory could be configured correctly and still fail every task that touched it — a moved path, the wrong machine, or unsaved changes already sitting in it. Previously you only found out when a task failed. A new Verify button checks it directly, ahead of time.
What You Gain
Finding out about a setup problem from a failed task costs you the time the agent already spent attempting the work. Verifying first means you catch the problem before assigning anything, not after.
How It Works
The Verify button on any local directory asks that machine directly and reports back whether the path exists, whether it's a proper project repository, which branch it's on, and whether it has unsaved changes sitting in it — flagged clearly as something to resolve before you assign a task.
Where to Find It
Open a project's Resources tab and click Verify on any local directory — available now on every account.
