You can keep messaging an agent while it works

Sending a second message to a busy agent used to cancel the first request silently; follow-up messages now queue and run in order instead.

Summary

Sending a message to an agent that was already working on something used to silently cancel what you asked for first — it simply never ran. Messages now queue up and run one at a time, in the order you sent them.

What You Gain

If you've ever sent a follow-up thought to an agent mid-task, only to find your first request never happened, this is the fix. Nothing told you it had been dropped — it just didn't run.

Now every message you send is respected. A run already in progress is never interrupted, and the next message in line starts the moment the one ahead of it finishes — so you can keep adding thoughts without worrying about losing earlier ones.

How It Works

Follow-up messages queue automatically and are never allowed to run at the same time as an existing run on the same task, which also prevents two runs from working against the same files at once.

Where to Find It

This applies automatically everywhere you message an agent — no setup required.
