Find a thread in a long task discussion

Search comment threads by text or author, filter by resolved status, and jump straight to the one you need in a busy task.

Summary

Tasks with a long back-and-forth can bury the one comment you're looking for. A new thread finder in the Task view and Task modal lets you search by text or author, filter by status, and jump straight to the comment you need.

What You Gain

Before this, finding a specific comment in a busy task meant scrolling and reading until you spotted it. On a task that had been open for weeks, with dozens of comments from several people and an agent, that could mean a lot of scrolling for one sentence you half-remembered.

Now you can search by a word or phrase, or by who wrote it, and narrow further to only unresolved threads, only resolved ones, or only your own. Clicking a result jumps the page straight to that comment, already in view.

How It Works

  • A search field in the task's header matches comment text and author name as you type.
  • Filter options let you view All, Unresolved, Resolved, or Mine so you can focus on what still needs attention.
  • Selecting a result scrolls the thread directly to that comment.
  • Threads can be marked Resolved right from the comment, and reopened the same way, so a settled discussion is visibly out of the way without leaving the task.

Where to Find It

The thread finder is available now in both the full Task view and the Task modal, on every project, with no setup required.
