Links in comments open in a new tab

Clicking a link inside a task comment now opens it in a new tab, so your place in the discussion and any reply you were writing stay put.

Summary

Links shared inside a task's comments now open in a new browser tab instead of replacing the page you were on. You can follow a link a teammate or an agent posted without losing your scroll position or a reply you had half-typed.

What You Gain

Comment threads often carry links to a design file, a staging link, or a related task. Clicking one used to navigate the whole page away from the task, so getting back meant reloading the task and scrolling back down to where you were — and anything you had started typing in the reply box was gone.

Now the link opens alongside your work. You keep the task open, your place in the thread, and your draft reply, and can simply switch back to the tab you were already in.

How It Works

  • Any link inside a comment opens in a new tab automatically, whether it was typed by a person or posted by an agent.
  • Your current task view, scroll position, and any unsent reply are left exactly as they were.
  • This applies everywhere comments appear: the full Task view and the quick Task modal.

Where to Find It

No setting to turn on — every comment link behaves this way automatically, for every project and every account.
