AI Chat task proposals arrive already structured
When AI Chat suggests several related tasks, it now groups and orders them into a real breakdown automatically, and remembers what it already proposed.
Summary
When AI Chat suggests several tasks that are really one piece of work, it now presents them as a structured breakdown — linked to a parent and ordered into stages — instead of a flat list you'd have to organize yourself. It also now remembers what it has already proposed.
What You Gain
Previously, a suggestion covering several related pieces of work came back as separate, unconnected items, leaving you to work out which depended on which and reassemble the structure yourself. A flat list of genuinely independent suggestions is unaffected and still arrives that way.
AI Chat also used to forget its own suggestions between messages — because only the written-out text of the conversation was being used to remember what happened, not the structured plan itself. That meant it could lose track of which tasks you'd already confirmed or skipped, and suggest the same ones again. It now retains that context properly, so it won't re-propose work it already created.
How It Works
- A multi-part suggestion arrives linked to its parent and already ordered into stages, so a staged breakdown runs stage by stage once you assign the parent, rather than all at once.
- AI Chat now remembers exactly what it proposed, what you confirmed or skipped, and the identifiers of anything it created — so it won't repeat itself.
- The AI Chat inside an individual task — the one you use for feedback, voice notes, or screenshots — gets the same improvement: unrelated suggestions now stay separate instead of all being nested under the first one.
Where to Find It
This applies automatically everywhere AI Chat proposes tasks — in the main chat and inside individual tasks.
