Change Your Project's Timezone in LogZuno
Change a project's timezone from its settings, and LogZuno recalculates every day of its history to match, so nothing gets miscounted.
A project's timezone can now be changed from its settings instead of staying fixed at whatever was chosen when the project was created.
What You Gain
Picking the wrong timezone when setting up a project used to be permanent — every "day" in your charts kept starting at midnight in that timezone forever, even after you noticed the mistake or opened a project for a team in a different region. Now changing a project's timezone is a normal settings change, and LogZuno takes care of the hard part: every day of your event history is recalculated so daily charts, active-user counts and reports line up with the new timezone, not a mix of old and new.
How It Works
Updating the timezone on a project's General settings page queues a rebuild that locks the project briefly, recomputes every daily total straight from the original event data in the new timezone, and releases the lock when it is done; any events still arriving during that short window are held until the rebuild finishes, so nothing is double-counted or lost. The change applies to the whole project's history at once, not just new data going forward.
Where to Find It
Open a project's Settings → General page and choose a new timezone from the dropdown. Only an owner or admin can make the change; members and viewers can still see the project's current timezone.
