Employee and Finance Documents Are Now Fully Private
Employee documents, contracts, receipts and payment proofs now require sign-in and permission, instead of being reachable by anyone with the link.
Summary
Sensitive files such as employee documents, signed contracts, expense receipts and payment proofs are now stored privately and open only to people allowed to see them, closing a gap where simply knowing a file's link was enough to open it without signing in.
What You Gain
Documents like signed contracts or payment proofs are exactly the kind of files a company needs to control carefully — who can see them should depend on their role, not on whether they happen to have a link. Picture an HR document or an expense receipt: it should be visible to HR, or to whoever approves expenses, and to no one else by default. That's now exactly how it works.
How It Works
- Private by default. Employee documents, contracts, receipts and payment proofs are stored where only permitted people can open them.
- Permission-based access. HR sees employee files, people who can see expenses see receipts, and people who can see payments see payment proofs.
- Existing files were moved to the new, private storage automatically.
- Old links no longer work — anyone needing a file now opens it through the app, where access is checked properly.
Where to Find It
