Chat Gets a Message Queue, Starters, and Smart Titles
Chat now lets you queue messages while an agent works, offers suggested conversation starters, and titles new chats automatically from what you ask.
Summary
Effigate Command Center's Chat now gives you more control over busy conversations. Messages sent while an agent is still working wait in a visible line you can reorder, agents can offer suggested starters, and every chat names itself from your first message.
What You Gain
Previously, sending a follow-up message while an agent was still answering was awkward: there was no way to see what was queued, reorder it, or pull a message back to rework it. Stopping an agent mid-answer could also leave an empty, unhelpful reply behind. And every new chat sat there called "Chat" until you renamed it yourself.
Now, if you think of something else to ask while an agent is mid-task, your message waits in a short, visible queue above the box. You can edit it, take it back, or send it immediately, which gracefully interrupts the current answer and keeps what it had already said. Starting a new chat with an agent that has conversation starters configured gives you a running start instead of a blank box, and the chat titles itself from your first message so your chat list is readable at a glance.
How It Works
- A queue you control. Messages sent while the agent works wait in order above the box; edit, reclaim, or promote any of them before the agent reaches it.
- Clean interruptions. Stop keeps whatever the agent had already said, or returns your message to the box if it hadn't started.
- Conversation starters. Give an agent up to three suggested prompts; they appear when someone opens a new chat with it, and picking one fills the box without sending.
- Chats name themselves. A new chat is titled from your first message, then refined with a short, descriptive title; any name you set yourself is never overwritten.
- A better chat list. Active and Archived tabs, search, pinned chats, and message previews, updating live.
- Safer deletes. Deleting a chat now asks you to confirm by typing "delete me," matching every other delete.
Where to Find It
These updates are live now in the Chat page for everyone using Chat with Agents. Conversation starters can be set per agent under Settings → General → Conversation starters.
