Mobile Attachments Land Properly, Plus a New-Task Checklist
Mobile app attachments now show up on the task reliably, new tasks support a checklist, and screen content no longer hides behind Android's navigation bar.
Summary
A round of mobile fixes closes several frustrating gaps: files attached when creating or commenting on a task now actually appear on it, new tasks support a checklist just like the web, and content on Android phones no longer gets hidden behind the on-screen navigation bar.
What You Gain
Files added through the New Task form, or the image and paperclip buttons on an existing task, were previously stored but never shown anywhere on the task — so there was no way to confirm they'd been added. New comments had a similar issue, appearing without their attached files until the page was refreshed. Separately, manually created tasks had no way to add a checklist, and on phones with Android's 3-button navigation bar, the bottom of many screens was hidden underneath it and impossible to scroll into view.
Now attachments show up on the task the moment they're added, with a clear explanation if a file couldn't be attached rather than it silently disappearing. Comment files appear immediately rather than needing a refresh, and if one fails, the comment box is cleared so you're not left with a half-posted duplicate. New tasks gain a full Checklist section, letting you add and remove items created in order with the task, as on the web. And across the app, nothing sits under the Android navigation bar any longer.
How It Works
- Attachments appear on the task immediately, whether added from the New Task form or an existing task, with clear errors for anything that fails.
- Comment files show up right away, with the comment box preserved if a file fails so nothing posts twice.
- Label editing is more reliable, with a clear message if the label list can't load instead of doing nothing.
- A Checklist section on New Task, matching the web's add, remove, and ordering behaviour.
- Nothing hides under Android's navigation bar across task lists, forms, project and agent screens, board columns, and bottom sheets.
