Task Links Can Now Open Straight Into the Mobile App
A link to a task can now open directly in the Effigate Command Center mobile app on iOS instead of a browser tab, with Android support on the way.
Summary
Opening a task link used to always land in your phone's browser, even if you had the Effigate Command Center app installed. On iOS, those links now open straight into the app itself.
What You Gain
Before this, tapping a task link shared by a teammate — in a message, an email, or a notification — opened a mobile browser tab, which meant an extra step logging in or navigating to find the actual task, even with the app already installed.
Now, on iOS, tapping a task link opens the app directly to that task, skipping the browser entirely. If a teammate shares a task link with you, you land exactly where you need to be with one tap.
How It Works
- iOS is fully set up today: any task link opens directly in the app if it's installed.
- Android support is on its way: the groundwork is in place and will switch on once a remaining setup step is completed, with no update needed on your end when it does.
Where to Find It
Live now on iOS for everyone with the app installed — no setting to turn on. Android will follow.
