Pinning a Task Now Actually Saves It for Good

Pinning a task in Effigate Command Center now genuinely saves, so your pinned tasks stay pinned, reorderable, and ready for a dedicated Pinned view.

Summary

Pinning a task looked like it worked, but nothing was actually being saved behind the scenes — a pin would quietly vanish the next time you checked. Pinning is now a real, saved action.

What You Gain

Before this fix, pinning a task appeared to succeed in the moment, but there was no real record of it anywhere. Come back later, and the pin would simply be gone, with no indication anything had gone wrong. If you'd gotten in the habit of pinning a handful of tasks you wanted to keep close at hand, you'd have found them unpinned again the next time you looked.

Now, pinning a task saves for real, scoped to your own account. You can pin a task, see your pins with their current title and status, reorder them, and unpin anything you no longer need to keep handy.

How It Works

  • Pin any task you want quick access to.
  • See your pins in one place, each showing the task's current title and status.
  • Reorder your pins to put what matters most at the top.
  • Unpin a task the moment you no longer need it pinned.

This also lays the groundwork for a dedicated Pinned section on the mobile app's Home screen, which will show your pinned tasks directly.

Where to Find It

Pinning is live now wherever you could already pin a task — it just works correctly now, with nothing new to turn on.
