An Unread Badge on Your App Icon, and a Clear Cache Button

The mobile app now offers an optional unread-count badge on its icon, and a Clear Cache button for quickly wiping stale data on your device.

Summary

The mobile app can now show your unread inbox count directly on its home-screen icon, and a new Clear Cache button gives you a quick way to wipe anything stored on your device if something looks out of date.

What You Gain

Previously there was no way to see how many unread items were waiting for you without opening the app, and no simple way to clear locally cached data if the app ever showed something stale.

Now a new App Badge toggle in Notification settings keeps your unread inbox count on the app icon, updated automatically and cleared the moment you sign out. It's off by default and only asks for the notification permission it needs once you turn it on. Separately, a new Clear Cache action on the Me tab lets you wipe everything the app has stored locally in one tap, useful if something on screen ever looks out of sync.

How It Works

  • App Badge toggle in Notification settings — turn it on to see your unread count on the home-screen icon.
  • Stays current automatically, and clears itself when you sign out.
  • Clear Cache on the Me tab wipes on-device cached data instantly, no sign-out required.

Where to Find It

Both are available now in the mobile app: App Badge under Notification settings (off by default), and Clear Cache under the Me tab.
