Manage Sprints Directly From the Effigate Command-Line Tool
The Effigate command-line tool can now list, view, create, update, and delete sprints, and show every task scheduled inside one.
Summary
The Effigate command-line tool now supports sprints as a first-class resource alongside tasks and projects — you can list, view, create, update, and delete a sprint, and see every task scheduled inside it, without leaving the terminal.
What You Gain
Previously, managing sprints was only possible through the web app. If your workflow lived mostly in the terminal — scripting routine project setup, or working from the command line by habit — there was no way to touch sprints at all without switching over to the browser. Now every core sprint action is available as a command-line command, returning the same table or structured data format you're already used to from working with tasks and projects.
How It Works
- List, view, create, update, and delete sprints directly from the command line.
- See every task scheduled inside a specific sprint, in the same format task listings already use.
- Every sprint command works within a specific project, since a sprint always belongs to exactly one.
Where to Find It
Available now in the Effigate command-line tool for anyone signed into their workspace — no extra permission needed beyond that. Run effigate sprint --help to see the full list of commands.
