Every Delete Now Asks You to Confirm, and Can Be Undone
Deleting a project, task, agent, or other core item now requires a typed confirmation, and can be restored afterward if you change your mind.
Summary
Deleting a project, task, agent, team, or other core item in Effigate Command Center now requires you to type a short confirmation phrase before the delete button unlocks, and the deleted item can be restored afterward if you change your mind.
What You Gain
Previously, deleting almost anything in the product — projects, agents, tasks, teams, users, and more — was a single click plus a basic Yes/No confirmation, and a few specific actions, like removing a single checklist item, had no confirmation at all. That made it easy to delete something by reflex, without a clear sense of what else it might affect. Where deleting one thing also removes related things — a project's tasks and documents, a team's members, an employee's records — there was previously no warning that this would happen.
Now, every one of these deletions opens a confirmation dialog that explains exactly what else will be affected, and deleting the main item itself requires typing a short confirmation phrase before the delete button becomes clickable — a deliberate extra step, not a reflex click. And just as importantly, many of these deletions are no longer permanent on the spot: a deleted project, agent, task, user, or similar item disappears from your lists immediately but can still be restored afterward, the same way team and employee deletions already worked. Deleting a task also now properly cancels any agent run still in progress for it, instead of leaving it dangling.
How It Works
- Deleting a project, agent, task, team, user, or similar core item now opens a confirmation dialog that explains what else it affects.
- Deleting the item itself requires typing a short confirmation phrase before the button unlocks.
- Many of these deletions can now be restored afterward, rather than being immediately permanent.
- Deleting a task with an agent run in progress now properly cancels that run.
- Removing a user no longer permanently blocks re-inviting the same email address later.
Where to Find It
This applies automatically to delete actions across your account — there's nothing to configure. Look for the restore option wherever you'd expect to find recently deleted items for a given area.
