Stronger Data Isolation Keeps Every Company's Workspace Private

Effigate Command Center now checks every request against your company's account before reading or writing any data, keeping each workspace fully separate — including work that runs automatically in the background.

Summary

Effigate Command Center now verifies which company account a request belongs to before it touches any data, at every point in the product — not only on the pages you see, but also in scheduled jobs and background updates. For teams running multiple projects with agents working around the clock, this means your boards, tasks, comments, and reports stay fully separate from every other company's workspace, with the same checks applied everywhere, all the time.

What You Gain

Previously, the checks that kept one company's data separate from another's were strongest on the pages you actively browse, where every click and page load confirms who you are and what you're allowed to see. Work that happens without a page open — a scheduled report, an agent finishing a task overnight, a notification being prepared — followed a looser path, since nothing was there to double-check it at the same depth.

Now every one of those paths, seen or unseen, runs the same ownership check before it can read or write anything. Picture two companies, each running their own projects and agents in Effigate Command Center at the same time: Company A's nightly task summary and Company B's agent run now both pass through the identical check, so a background process started for one workspace can never accidentally touch another's boards, tasks, comments, or files. You don't have to trust that only the parts you see are protected — everything behind the scenes is held to the same standard.

How It Works

  • Every request carries its company context. Whether you open a project board, an agent kicks off a run, or a scheduled job wakes up, Effigate Command Center first confirms which company account it belongs to before doing anything else.
  • Background work is checked the same way as a page load. Scheduled reports, overnight agent runs, and queued notifications now go through the identical ownership check as a page you open yourself, closing the gap where background work was checked less strictly.
  • Real-time updates stay scoped too. Live activity feeds and notifications, the updates that stream in as agents work, are filtered by the same per-request check, so you only ever see activity from your own company.
  • Nothing to configure. This protection applies automatically to every project, task, and agent in your account; there's no setting to turn on and no workspace to re-check.
  • No change to how you work. Boards, tasks, comments, and reports look and behave exactly as before — the difference is entirely behind the scenes.

Where to Find It

This is already active on every Effigate Command Center account — there's nothing to enable and no settings to change. It applies automatically across every project, task, agent run, and background job in your workspace.
