A Parent Task's Agent Now Knows Its Breakdown Exists
An agent assigned to a parent task now sees its existing sub-tasks and coordinates them, instead of redoing their work itself.
Summary
An agent assigned to a parent task that already has sub-tasks now sees that breakdown and coordinates it, instead of treating the parent's description as its own job to finish from scratch.
What You Gain
Before this fix, a parent task's agent had no way of knowing sub-tasks already existed, so it could end up doing the whole job itself while the staged sub-tasks did the same work separately — wasted effort, and sometimes conflicting results. Now the agent is handed the full list of existing sub-tasks, with each one's stage and status, and is told plainly that its job is to review the plan and coordinate, not to redo it. This rounds out sub-task stages from earlier this month, so the parent's own agent respects a breakdown it didn't create itself.
How It Works
A parent task's agent now receives an "Existing Sub-Tasks" overview before it starts, so it can check the breakdown, adjust a sub-task's description if needed, and let the staged work run as planned.
Where to Find It
This applies automatically to every parent task with sub-tasks; nothing to configure.
