Brick Office Now Shows Live Activity From Every Machine
The Brick Office now streams live activity for runs on any machine, plays rocket launches reliably, and gets a Day/Night/Auto lighting switch.
Summary
The Brick Office's live view of your agents is now genuinely live for runs happening on any machine on your team, not just your own, and finally plays its rocket-launch and failure animations reliably. A new Day/Night/Auto switch rounds out the view.
What You Gain
Runs happening on a teammate's machine previously looked frozen in the Office once the initial activity loaded — their transcript stopped updating, their progress stayed stuck at "Started," and their desk rocket never got past the launch pad, even while real work was clearly happening elsewhere. On top of that, the celebratory rocket launch when a task shipped, or the rocket falling apart when one failed, sometimes simply didn't play if the agent moved away from its desk too quickly.
Now every agent's activity streams live in the Office regardless of which machine it's running on, with the same real-time transcript, progress updates, and desk rocket animation you'd see for a run on your own computer. Shipped tasks reliably launch their rocket with confetti and land it on the next open spot on your Shipped shelf — making room by retiring the oldest rocket if the shelf is full — and failed runs reliably show their rocket falling apart. A new lighting switch lets you set the Office to Day, Night, or Auto, which follows the clock and switches to night lighting from 7pm to 7am, remembered per computer.
How It Works
- Live activity from every machine — transcripts, progress, and desk rockets update in real time no matter where the run is happening.
- Reliable launches and failures. Shipped tasks always launch and land on the Shipped shelf; failed runs always show the rocket falling apart.
- A full shelf makes room automatically by retiring its oldest rocket first.
- Day / Night / Auto lighting, with Auto switching to night from 7pm to 7am and your choice remembered per computer.
- A taller office so the notice board no longer pokes above the walls.
Where to Find It
Open the Office tab in the latest version of the desktop app; the lighting switch sits at the top of the view.
