AI Chat Works Again on Mobile, With Full Task Cards
AI Chat in the mobile app is reliable again, and now shows the same editable task cards as the web, including sub-tasks, dates, and checklists.
Summary
AI Chat in the mobile app previously ended every conversation with a "Could not reach the AI" error, even when the assistant had actually replied — that's fixed. On top of the fix, mobile now shows the same rich, editable task cards the web app has, so you can review and create tasks the AI proposes right from your phone.
What You Gain
The mobile app couldn't properly read the AI's reply as it streamed in, so every conversation ended in an error message regardless of whether the assistant had actually responded — making AI Chat effectively unusable on mobile. Beyond the fix, task proposals from the AI had no equivalent of the web's task cards on mobile, so there was no good way to review, adjust, and create the tasks an AI conversation suggested without switching to a computer.
Now a conversation with the AI assistant completes properly on mobile, and when it proposes tasks, you get the same kind of card you'd see on the web: each editable before you create it, covering title, description, type, priority, weight, dates, and checklist. Create tasks one at a time, drop them into an active sprint or leave them unassigned, or create every proposed task at once. If a sub-task is part of a bigger breakdown, it keeps its connection to the parent task even if created separately, and any dates or weight the AI suggested are no longer lost.
How It Works
- Conversations complete reliably — replies, clarifying questions, and task proposals all display correctly.
- Editable task cards, matching the web: title, description, type, priority, weight, dates, and checklist.
- Flexible creation — one at a time, into an active sprint, with no sprint, or all at once.
- Sub-tasks keep their parent even when created individually from a breakdown.
- Created and skipped tasks are remembered if you reopen the conversation later.
- Clearer error messages when something goes wrong — no connection, an expired session, no project access, too many requests, or an AI provider issue.
Where to Find It
Update to the latest version of the mobile app; AI Chat is available wherever it was before, now with the same task-card experience as the web.
