One Daily Digest Instead of a Notification for Every Comment
Turn on the daily digest for one morning email per project that highlights what needs your attention, what shipped, and what's stuck.
Summary
Effigate can now send one email each morning instead of a separate notification for every comment and status change. Turn it on in your notification settings, and each project gets a single digest leading with what needs you, followed by what got done and what's stuck.
What You Gain
Before the digest, staying on top of a busy project meant wading through a notification for every comment, status change, and mention — useful in the moment, but exhausting across several active projects, especially if work happened overnight or over a weekend. Important things like a review waiting two days for your attention could get lost in the noise of smaller updates.
Now, picture waking up to one email for each project your team works on: it opens with exactly what's been waiting on you — reviews of your work, unanswered mentions, failed runs nobody's retried, blocked tasks — then summarizes what got done, where tasks you're following stand, what's stuck, and whether the sprint is on track. A project where nothing happened overnight still gets a short "all quiet" note, so you know the digest is working rather than wondering if something slipped through. Managers get a team-wide summary on top: who needs a nudge, the longest-waiting work, and how each project and agent is performing.
How It Works
- Team members get one email per project, opening with anything that's waited 2+ days for them, then recent activity, follow status, and sprint health.
- Managers and admins get one team summary covering who to check in with, the longest waits, delivery by project, and how time is spent across agent work, queueing, and waiting on people.
- Slack delivery, if connected: each project's digest posts to its own channel, the team summary to your default channel.
- A Monday catch-up covers the full weekend in one email instead of three.
- Ordinary notifications pause once the digest is on — comment and status-change emails and Slack posts stop, while in-app, push, and urgent merge-conflict alerts still arrive right away.
Where to Find It
Turn it on in Settings → Notifications; use Send me a test digest to preview yours first, and turn it off again any time from your profile's email preferences.
