Fixed Sign-In Failing With a Server Error on Some Accounts
Fixed sign-in occasionally failing with a server error while verifying a sign-in code, on mobile, the web CLI flow, and MCP token exchange.
Summary
Verifying a sign-in code could, on some accounts, fail with a server error instead of completing — affecting the mobile app, the web-based CLI sign-in flow, and MCP token exchange alike. That's now fixed.
What You Gain
Before the fix, some sign-in attempts would stall on the verification step with a generic error, forcing a retry with no clear explanation of what went wrong. It wasn't tied to anything you did — a missing piece of account bookkeeping during the sign-in step meant it occasionally failed outright.
Now that step completes reliably every time, across every way you can sign in with a code.
How It Works
All three code-verification paths — the mobile app, the web CLI flow, and MCP token exchange — mint your session the same corrected way, so a sign-in that used to fail now completes normally.
Where to Find It
Live now for everyone, with nothing to change on your end. If you'd previously hit this error, signing in again should now work without issue.
