Live Updates and Mobile Notifications Are More Reliable

Live activity updates and mobile push notifications are now more reliable, and a hiccup in either one no longer delays the rest of your notifications.

Summary

Live activity updates and mobile push notifications are now more reliable, and a temporary hiccup in either one no longer delays or blocks the rest of your notifications.

What You Gain

Occasionally, a live-update hiccup or a mobile device without push notifications fully set up could interrupt notification delivery for everyone, even though the in-app and email notification had already gone out. Now each notification channel is handled independently, so a problem with one — like a brief connectivity issue or a device not yet registered for push — is skipped and logged instead of holding up or duplicating anything else.

How It Works

  • Faster, more direct live updates, reducing the chance of a delivery hiccup.
  • Mobile push is attempted only for devices that are actually registered for it, and any failure there is logged and skipped rather than stopping the notification.

Where to Find It

This applies automatically to every Effigate account; nothing to configure.
