Global search now covers task references, documents, and more

Global search now resolves task identifiers directly and covers project documents, agents, autopilots and teams, not just projects and tasks.

Summary

Global search previously only looked across projects, tasks, customers, invoices and sprints — everything else in the app was invisible to it. It now resolves task identifiers directly and searches across six more categories.

What You Gain

Typing a task's own identifier into search used to rely on a text match against the title, which didn't always find it. Now typing the identifier jumps you straight to that task, every time.

Search also used to leave out entire areas of the app, so finding a specific document, agent, or team meant remembering which page it lived on and navigating there manually. Search now reaches into those areas too, each result respecting the same visibility you already have on that page, so nothing turns up that you couldn't otherwise see.

How It Works

  • Typing a task identifier jumps straight to that task.
  • Search now also covers Project Documents, Agents, Autopilots, Runtimes, Teams and Squads.
  • Each category respects existing visibility rules, so results are always scoped to what you're allowed to see.

Where to Find It

Open global search (⌘/ or Ctrl+/) from anywhere in the app — this is live now for every account.
