Starting a chat with an agent works again
Choosing an agent and pressing Start on the Chat page used to do nothing at all; it now opens the conversation, and any failure now explains itself.

On the Chat page, choosing an agent and pressing Start used to silently do nothing — no chat opened, and no error appeared. That's fixed, and any future failure to start a chat now shows a reason instead of failing silently.
What You Gain
A click that does nothing, with no error, is the hardest kind of problem to work around — there was nothing to retry or fix. Starting a chat now works the way it should, and if it ever fails again for any reason, you'll see why directly under the Start button instead of being left guessing.
