Save An Agent And Prompt As A One-Click Quick Action

Quick Actions let you save a reusable agent-and-prompt pair and fire it at any task in one click, from a task's menu or properties panel.

Summary

Quick Actions let you save a reusable agent-and-prompt pair and fire it at any task in a single click, straight from a task's menu or its properties panel.

What You Gain

Before Quick Actions, running the same kind of request against a task — "summarize this," "write tests for this," "translate this" — meant picking the agent and typing out the same prompt every time. Now you set it up once and reuse it everywhere.

Picture a team that regularly asks an agent to write a changelog-style summary of any finished task: instead of retyping that prompt each time, they save it once as a Quick Action, and from then on it's one click away from any task's menu.

How It Works

  • Save a pair. Combine a specific agent with a specific prompt and give it a name.
  • Run it from anywhere. Trigger a Quick Action from a task's "..." menu or its properties panel.
  • Manage them centrally. Create, edit or remove Quick Actions from Settings → Quick Actions.

Where to Find It

Set up your first Quick Action under Settings → Quick Actions; available to every account.
